Side Events
Cavalry Battle Event
In the My Hero Academia Sports Festival arc, the students are attempting to collect headbands from other students in an attempt to collect the most points on their headbands. For the Cavalry Battle side event, every player participating events for the weekend will receive one wristband at the time they enter their first event. (There are no free wristbands given for entering subsequent events.) For the entire weekend, Friday – Sunday, players can engage in Cavalry Battle matches, betting wristbands on the outcome of their match.
Players both having wristbands available will agree upon a wristband bet (i.e. 3 wristbands per player) prior to starting the match and prior to revealing the characters. When both players hold wristbands, there is a minimum bet of 1 wristband for that match. Matches can be casual matches throughout the weekend, swiss matches in the Friday Draft or the Saturday tournament, or matches in the side event on Sunday, or even a top cuts match. The winner of the match wins all wristbands in the pot.
If at any point, a player is out of wristbands and would like to buy back in, they can pay $15 to receive 4 additional wristbands to continue participating in Cavalry Battle.
On Sunday May 28th from 2pm – 5pm, you may cash in your wristbands for prizes.
One standard Cavalry Battle wristband = One UniVersus Booster Pack
There will be one special 10 Million Point wristband in circulation. When the player in control of the 10 Million Point wristband participates in a match with anyone holding Cavalry Battle wristbands, they MUST bet the 10 Million Point band. The opposing player must bet one regular wristband. The 10 Million Point wristband holder cannot turn down a request to play a match. When the 10 Million Point wristband changes hands, the player now holding the wristband must play at least one other player before a re-match with the person who just lost the wristband. Matches for the 10 Million Point wristband must take place within the venue during open hours and results of the 10 Million Point match must be reported to the LWG vendor booth. If the player holding the 10 Million Point band has to leave the event prior to 5:00 pm on Sunday May 28th, 2023, the 10 Million Point wristband returns to the last player who had possession of the 10 Million Point wristband.
There are three times that having the 10 Million Point wristband in your possession earns you extra prizes.
-
At the conclusion of the last round of the Standard tournament on Friday, the player in possession of the 10 Million Point wristband will win one (1) booster box of UniVersus/MHA of their choosing.
-
At the conclusion of the last round of the MHA RLE Tournament on Saturday, the player in possession of the 10 Million Point wristband will win one (1) booster box of UniVersus/MHA of their choosing.
-
At the conclusion of top cuts (end of the trophy ceremony) on Sunday, the player in possession of the 10 Million Point wristband will win one (1) booster box of UniVersus/MHA of their choosing.
